United Auto Workers (UAW) MN State CAP Council Endorses Jake Johnson

Today, the United Auto Workers (UAW) Minnesota State CAP Council endorsed Jake Johnson in MN-01. UAW represents more than 400,000 active members and more than 580,000 retired members across industries including auto manufacturing, aerospace, agricultural equipment, higher education, and health care.

“UAW members build the tractors and combines our farmers count on, and they know what it takes to stand together and win a fair deal,” said Jake Johnson. “I’m proud to have the UAW in our corner as we fight for good-paying jobs and lower costs across southern Minnesota.”

As a leader in his union, Jake has served on three bargaining teams and helped win better pay and working conditions for over 1,000 teachers, nurses, and counselors in Rochester Public Schools. The UAW joins over a dozen unions in endorsing Jake, adding to the growing labor support for his campaign to bring down costs, take on corruption, and invest in small towns.
