PRESS RELEASE

Jake Johnson Holds Town Hall in Wabasha County

WABASHA, MN — Tonight, Jake Johnson held a town hall meeting with over 70 people in Wabasha County. The meeting was open to all members of the public, was widely advertised beforehand, and had no pre-screening of questions. In response to questions, Jake shared his beliefs about the need for a pause on building data centers, his support for term limits, and how he isn’t taking any corporate PAC money.

“We had great conversations at our town hall meeting in Wabasha tonight,” said Jake Johnson. “From chatting about how we can stop data centers from exploiting southern Minnesota, to talking about how we can balance the budget, we discussed a number of important issues vital to the people of Wabasha County.”

Jake was introduced by Joyce Fiedler, a member of the local community. As many voters know, Finstad instead opts for what he calls “tele town halls”, which are unannounced phone calls that only go to a set of preselected individuals chosen by Finstad’s office, where they can hear Finstad respond to questions with no proof that those questions are not presubmitted.
