Jake Johnson Holds Town Hall in Steele County

OWATONNA, MN — Tonight, Jake Johnson held a town hall meeting with over 170 people in Steele County. The meeting was open to all members of the public, was widely advertised beforehand, and had no pre-screening of questions. In response to questions, Jake discussed his concerns about data centers and the national debt, how he’ll support small and family farmers, and how he’ll invest in healthcare and education.

“We had great conversations at our town hall meeting in Owatonna tonight,” said Jake Johnson. “I enjoyed answering questions and chatting about my concerns around data centers and the national debt, how I’ll support small and family farmers, and how I’ll vote to invest in healthcare and education. Jake was introduced by Bill Cronin, the President of Mineral Springs Brewing. As many voters know, Finstad instead opts for what he calls “tele town halls”, which are unannounced phone calls that only go to a set of preselected individuals chosen by Finstad’s office, where they can hear Finstad respond to questions with no proof that those questions are not presubmitted.
