Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen Endorses Jake Johnson
Today, Jake Johnson announced the endorsement of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) in his campaign for Congress. As the oldest rail labor union in North America, and as a division of the Teamsters Union, the BLET represents over 1,000 active and retired members across Minnesota.
“BLET members work hard to support their families, and it’s time that they have a congressman who does the same,” said Jake Johnson, candidate for Minnesota’s first congressional district. “In Congress, I will always stand with the workers who power our economy, not the corporate CEOs who are extracting from it.”
“It is clear that Jake Johnson will fight for the working men and women of Minnesota's First district in Congress and the BLET is proud to endorse Jake Johnson's campaign,” said Joel Mueller, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen.
