AUSTIN, MN — On Wednesday, Jake Johnson hosted a roundtable with veterans in Austin, hearing their worries about recent funding challenges for veterans’ healthcare, concerns about the Iran War, and other important issues.

“It was great to hear from local veterans about their concerns, so I can best advocate for them in Congress,” said Jake Johnson. “My stepfather served three tours in Vietnam, and when he passed away, we needed his VA survivorship benefits to help make ends meet. I’m fighting to make sure veterans’ healthcare and veterans’ programs are fully funded, rather than spending money on endless wars in the Middle East.”
